Data-Driven Insights. Community-Rooted Solutions.

Shaping the Future of Mental Health Through Inclusive Research

Our Research Initiatives are designed to center the voices of underserved communities, uncover the real-world impact of social and cultural factors on mental health, and drive innovation in equitable, accessible care.

Mental health challenges do not affect all communities equally. Yet, too often, research overlooks the experiences of marginalized populations. We’re changing that narrative by conducting community-based, culturally responsive research that informs better services, smarter policies, and sustainable impact.

Our research isn’t just about gathering data. It’s about fueling change.

Why Community-Based Mental Health Research Matters

Without inclusive data, there can be no true mental health equity.
From racial and ethnic disparities in care to the stigma around seeking help, the mental health experiences of many remain under-documented and under-addressed.

By partnering with schools, faith communities, grassroots leaders, and individuals with lived experience, our research prioritizes:

  • Community empowerment over academic elitism

  • Solutions that are practical, not theoretical

  • Ethical research practices grounded in trust and transparency

  • Intersectional analysis of mental health in immigrant and BIPOC populations

  • Research that informs public health interventions and policy advocacy

  • Surveys and interviews with youth from underserved communities

  • Pilot studies on the impact of mentorship and peer support groups

  • Research-backed tools and toolkits co-designed with youth

3. Women’s Mental Health

Our research addresses the unique mental health needs of women—especially mothers, caregivers, and trauma survivors.

  • Postpartum mental health disparities among immigrant and low-income women

  • Evaluations of support group outcomes and toolkits

4. Program Evaluation & Impact Measurement

We don’t just implement programs—we track their impact and refine them based on what works.

  • Quantitative and qualitative analysis of community-based initiatives

  • Feedback-driven development for support circles and toolkits

  • Ongoing evaluation to ensure our services meet real needs, not assumptions

Real Stories. Reliable Data. Real Change.

At Thrive and Live, research is not removed from the community—it grows from it.
Whether we’re documenting trauma trends or measuring the impact of a youth program,
our findings are always tied to the goal of healing and equity.

When research is inclusive, intentional, and informed by lived experience,
it becomes a powerful tool for justice. At Thrive and Live, we’re turning insight into impact—one study at a time.
